Refund policy

At Belle Soié, your satisfaction matters to us. We're a small, independent business based in British Columbia, Canada, and we want you to love what you wear. Please review our guidelines below.

Return window
You may request a return within 14 days of delivery. To be eligible, items must be unworn, unwashed, with original tags attached, and in their original packaging. Returns that don't meet these conditions can't be accepted.

How to start a return
Email us at support@bellesoie.shop with your order number and the reason for your return. Please wait for our confirmation and instructions before sending anything back — items returned without prior approval can't be processed.

Return shipping
If your item arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, return shipping is on us — just contact us and we'll make it right at no cost to you. For all other returns, including change of mind or fit, customers are responsible for return shipping. We recommend a tracked, prepaid service, as we can't be responsible for returns lost in transit.

Damaged, defective, or wrong items
Please inspect your order on arrival. If anything is defective, damaged, or not what you ordered, email us within 48 hours of delivery with a clear photo of the issue. We'll make it right with a replacement or full refund, including any return shipping — no need to send it back before we resolve it.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we'll let you know if it's approved.  Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to post it. Prefer a faster option? We're happy to issue store credit right away.

Exchanges
The quickest way to exchange an item is to return the original (per the steps above) and place a new order for the size or piece you'd like.

Non-returnable items
For hygiene and practical reasons, we can't accept returns on: intimates and undergarments, earrings and pierced jewelry, final-sale or clearance items, gift cards, and customized products.

Customs, duties & taxes
Any import duties or taxes already paid on an order are non-refundable, as these are charged by your local authorities and not retained by us.

European Union — 14-day cooling-off period
If your order is shipped to the EU, you may cancel or return it within 14 days for any reason, provided items are returned unworn, unused, with tags and original packaging, along with proof of purchase.
